bio: Firstly, thank you for taking the time to find us. We hope that you like what we have to offer. If you’re looking for quality contemporary soul music you’re in the right place.
Since 1992, Dome has been the UK Home of Soul and R&B, keeping up a regular flow of quality soul and neo soul to the UK and the world. Readers of Blues & Soul magazine have consistently voted us the UK’s leading black music label.
We pride ourselves on the vocal quality of our artists. Early discoveries include Beverley Knight, Hil St Soul (whose version of ‘Until You Come Back To Me’ – from the Dome album ‘Soul Organic’ - was the most-played vocal track of the year at Smooth Jazz radio stations in the US in 2001) and Dennis Taylor.
More recent additions to the Dome roster have included US singer-songwriter Brenda Russell, Rahsaan Patterson, Incognito, New Yorkers Angela Johnson, Martha Redbone, Karen Bernod, one-time Prince New Power Generation member Rosie Gaines, Carleen Anderson, George Duke and Laurnea.
We hope you enjoy the artists on our label and will help us spread the word – we’re keepin’ it real and, more importantly, ‘keepin’ it soulful’.
