Run by it’s two owners, Michael Rank and Klaus Eickemeyer, Kosmo Records is one of the leading brands for German dance music all over the world. Located in Munich, the beautiful southern city of Germany, Kosmo started out in 1995 to create a counter part to the popular Berlin sound of Low Spirit and the Frankfurt Posse emanating from Sven Väth`s labels Harthouse and Eye-Q. Kosmo ventured out with Tomcraft, Tom Novy and one of the most talented german producers, Eniac, and the Kosmo Sound was born!
In the meantime, Kosmo has earned praise and great respect amongst clubbers and dj´s, it´s reputation has spread around the world. Numerous high quality productions from Kosmo`s leading artist roster revealed the commercial potential, achieving top regions in dance- and sales charts around the world - some of the Kosmo tunes have definitely emerged as techno classics.
