bio: More Music is south africa's newest indie record label and is run by Industry veteran of 14 years, Manuel Oettl, More Music performs all the functions of a traditional Record label plus all New Media Routes to. I believe that our Live bands and Electronic producers are very very hot, they just have no route to market, i intent to help supply that for them( and vice versa for international artists in our territories. Try us, we are new, but everything starts somewhere. We have been on myspace for about 8 months now, what a fantastic Platform for us, We are geographically challanaged and sites like these put us on an even footing with the biggest territories on earth, watch out for the South African music explosion. Our Producers are gaining huge international exposure at the moment Troydon Murison will be starting his new label "Phonshuffle" next month,Troydon has been prolific over the last 4 years with releases on AROMA, OM, SPATULA CITY, DROP MUSIC, LOWDOWN, BOMBAY etc etc so it is with great pleasure that more music will be acting on behalf of the Brooklyn Resident. The label's 12" distribution will be handled by N.E.W.S world wide. Local More Artist, Jimmy Chronic's Bomb that featured on our my psace player for 2 months "lemon Drops" has just been signed to UK tech label Gung Ho Records for the world, a video is being shot for it and it is due to be released in febuary 2007. Local producers Ryan Murgatroyd who has recenlty had a tune signed to CR2, Funk Country which was also Pete Tongs pick for the weekend recenlty and Mark Webb, who's electro bomb "is this minimal" was signed to Juicey ( Robbie Riveira's label) have supplied remixes to go with the Gung Ho's UK remix package which will be confirmed soon.
