>> One Note
bio: One Note Records was set up in 2003 by The New Mastersounds, initially as a vehicle for the band's releases. Run by drummer Simon Allen, the label has since expanded to include side-projects - guitarist Eddie Roberts' Roughneck band, and percussionist Sam Bell's Orgatronics have both released albums through ONR, and have been joined recently by Papadub, the reggae spin-off created by Bob Birch and Pete Shand. At last in 2006, a band featuring NO members of the New Mastersounds has joined the team: Fast3, a British ex-pat trio living in Barcelona, Spain, whose debut studio album 'The Grifter' (quirky funk-soul-boogaloo) is now out on CD in Japan and available everywhere else on itunes.
