bio: Swiss drummer Peter Giger came to Frankfurt in 1972 to join the Albert Mangelsdorff Quintet. In 1977 he went out on his own with his project, the Family of Percussion, a percussion-only quartet, along with Trilok Gurtu, Doug Hammond and Tom Nicholas.
