bio: Since 1989 DiscMedi is been established as a record label, publisher and distribution company. Nowadays it probably is one of the biggest independents in Spain with a market share close to the two per cent, one of the highest outside the majors field. DiscMedi it's been constantly growing since it's foundation, adding new labels to the list of distributed companies and increasing the range of music in which we're involved in without forgetting to still support local acts which, in fact, was the first purpose of the company when it was born. Our catalogue comprises from rock to classical, with jazz, folk, Latin music, folk, electronical, traditional and Americana in the middle. Many of the albums we have published (as well as an important part of those we have licensed from different companies) are not only domestic but fully international releases. An extensive and powerful distributors net make DiscMedi's albums available all around the world.
