bio: Green Empathy is an athmospheric lounge/electronic/easy listening project of Daniel Voss accompanied by vocalist LiuLiu. The inofficial debut album "Terratronica" was released on the Japanese label "Receptortune" in 2005. The actual debut "Souvenirs" was released worldwide on Peacelounge Recordings in July 2007. Daniel Voss writes and produces electronic music since 1998 and collaborates with his brother Roland Voss in the music projects "Weathertunes", "Lemongrass" and "Jasmon"... Daniel was born in northern Germany in November 1977, finding three older brothers playing various instruments, so he started playing the piano at the age of 5. During the following 10 years he was educated in classic, jazz and pop piano and in his teenage years he additionally started playing the guitar, bass guitar and several percussion instruments. Daniel participated in several alternative/grunge/punkrock bands during the 90´s. At the same time he had first contact with his brothers synthesizers and sequencer applications and at the age of 21 he started the first electronic music project "Weathertunes" with Roland. They began a close and intensive collaboration in many ways. In 2004 Daniel started two further music projects: "Green Empathy" and "The Serpentines".
In 2005 Roland and Daniel founded the record label "Lemongrassmusic"
