>> The Superimposers
bio: We are The Superimposers and our new album is called ‘Harpsichord Treacle’, it’s a line from a song hidden away in the wonderfulsound libraries’ vaults. It’s all about the sound of the LP. Like treacle oozing from a harpsichord. Sounds delicious eh?
This is the first album release on our own imprint, Wonderfulsound, a label we’ve built up over the last couple of years which began with our irregular radio show “The Wonderfulsound Libraries” (broadcast from our website wonderfulsound.com), a critically acclaimed 7” release by DAN SOLO plus we’ve cut our teeth as remixers for Jose Gonzalez and Au Revoir Simone.
Recorded in our new studio in the heart of Bloomsbury, “Harpsichord Treacle” is an album that has been brewing within us for some time now. Although recorded relatively quickly, the songs, sounds and colours have been deliberated over many an ale and the ideas have developed with each changing season.
Harpsichord Treacle is more "Superimposed" goodness with plenty of peace, love and harmonies going on. Available exclusively through Rough Trade in January when it receives their prestigious award of “album of the month”.
