bio: Macbeth is the third album from the Swedish jazz sensation MUSICMUSICMUSIC who has become acclaimed through their joyful and open approach to jazz music. The genre or the traditional pianotrio-setting is of no particular importance for MMM. The ideas, the energy, the improvisation and the expression are what it's all about. The original compositions of Fabian Kallerdahl (Jazz in Sweden-winner -2006) on the Macbeth-album was also used in the Shakespeare-play when it was played in Bergen, Norway in the fall of 2006. On Macbeth MMM also takes on Earth Wind & Fire's "September" and Gershwin's "Some Other Time" using the MMM-sound! The leading jazz critics of Sweden all agree on the vitality and freshness of this trio and the second biggest newspaper appointed the group's second album ”What's a good boss anyway?” best jazz album of 2005.
