bio: Gizeh Records is an independent / DIY label based in Leeds, England. Initially set-up by Glissando member Richard Knox to self-release selected hand-packaged limited CDr's the label has evolved and progressed naturally over the years. Now home to artists such as Mere, A-Sun Amissa, FareWell Poetry, Richard Knox & Frederic D. Oberland, Conquering Animal Sound, Sleepingdog, Trespassers William, Glissando and Fieldhead, Gizeh is now focussed on releasing records of ambient beauty whilst retaining the strong DIY ethics that have been prominent in the labels success to date.
There is a strong sense of community running through Gizeh with artists frequently sharing stages and musicians sharing bands and projects together.
